RANDOM FACTS OF THE DAY The Hemisphere Hog: Africa is the only continent on Earth that has land in all four hemispheres: Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western. Unique Fingerprints: Even though identical twins share the exact same DNA, they do not have the same fingerprints. This is because fingerprints are determined by both genetics and environmental factors in the womb, like the rate of finger growth and the length of the umbilical cord. Cotton Candy's Maker: Ironically, cotton candy (originally called "fairy floss") was co-invented by a dentist named William Morrison in 1897. The Largest Desert: While the Sahara is the largest hot desert, the world's largest desert overall is actually Antarctica. A desert is defined by low precipitation, and Antarctica is the driest continent on Earth. THANK YOU!
