COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHT

Do you know of any great causes or organizations doing impactful things throughout our community?

Make sure to reply & share so I can feature them in an upcoming newsletter!

RANDOM FACTS OF THE DAY

Sushi Matrix: The iconic green "code rain" from The Matrix movies isn't complex computer science - it’s actually a series of scanned sushi recipes from a Japanese cookbook.

The Largest Living Organism: It isn't a blue whale or an elephant; it's a fungus. A single specimen of Armillaria ostoyae (the Humongous Fungus) in Oregon covers over 2,300 acres of soil - roughly the size of 1,665 football fields.

Honey Bee "Sixth Sense": Bees can detect the electric fields of flowers. Flowers have a slight negative charge, and as bees fly through the air, they build up a positive charge. When a bee lands, the electrical tension helps it "feel" if another bee has recently visited that flower.

THANK YOU!

Hope you have a superb week & see you Thursday. 🐝
